I’m Julie Van Rooy, a Belgian jewellery designer currently

completing my Master’s in Jewellery Design at the Royal

Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. My work is rooted in

craftsmanship and a deep interest in metals and a wide range of materials.

I combine traditional techniques with contemporary design to

create pieces that explore form, identity, and the relationship

between jewellery and the body. I am particularly drawn to the

intersection between objects and jewellery, examining how

function and adornment shape the way we interact with

wearable pieces.

I enjoy engaging in creative partnerships, often working

alongside fashion designers and craftsmen to broaden the scope and context of my work.
